Professor Tian Qibo is a Professor and Ph.D. supervisor at Shenzhen University. He serves as the Director and Chief Expert of the Shenzhen University Research Base for the Study of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era under the Guangdong Provincial Research Center, as well as the Director of the Institute for Ecological Civilization and Green Development at Shenzhen University. He is an Executive Council Member of the Chinese Society of Dialectical Materialism, Executive Council Member of the Chinese Society of Human Studies, and Council Member of the Chinese Society for the History of Marxist Philosophy. He is also a selected talent for the “Ten-Hundred-Thousand Project” for outstanding personnel in Guangdong’s ideological and publicity front, and a provincial-level selected candidate for the “Thousand-Hundred-Ten Talent Project” in Guangdong. He has been honored as an “Outstanding Teacher of Shenzhen.” Professor Tian has authored or co-authored more than ten academic monographs, including A Study on Ecological Justice, Reflection and Transcendence of Developmentalism: The Transformation and Innovation of Development Philosophy in Contemporary China, A Study on Giddens’ Thought on Modern Social Change, and Contemporary Interpretations of Marxist Values. He has published over 60 academic papers in journals such as Marxism Studies, Journal of Peking University, and Modern Philosophy. He has presided over several research projects funded by the National Philosophy and Social Science Fund and provincial and ministerial-level foundations, and has received multiple academic awards, including the First Prize for Outstanding Works in Ideological and Political Education in Higher Education Institutions of Guangdong Province and the First Prize for Excellent Papers in Philosophy and Social Sciences of Shenzhen.
