About the Author:
Professor Chung-Ying Cheng (b. 1935, Nanjing), is a renowned scholar originally from Yangxin County, Hubei Province. He is a tenured professor of philosophy at the University of Hawai’i. He has held visiting and honorary positions at National Taiwan University, Peking University, Yale University, and Oxford University. He founded the International Society for Chinese Philosophy, the International Society for Yijing, and the International Association for Confucianism. He has published over 30 works including
Origin and System of the Yijing and Collected Works of Chung-Ying Cheng.
