Li Fengliang is the Vice Director of the Academic Committee of the Institute, and Deputy Party Secretary of Southern University of Science and Technology. His main research areas include literary theory, cultural industries, and urban culture. He has made pioneering contributions to the poetics of Western fiction, contemporary overseas Chinese literary criticism, the integration of culture and technology, and the study of emerging cultural forms. He has independently led 6 national-level research projects (including two major projects) and 10 provincial and ministerial-level projects. He has published 25 books and over 100 academic papers.
