Prof. Gao Xuanyang, Chair Professor at Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Dean of the Institute for Advanced Study of European Culture. He has served as a professor at the Institut International de Philosophie in Paris and head of the Chinese Philosophy Research Institute, a specially appointed "Overseas Master" of the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs at Tongji University, and dean of the Institute for European Thought and Culture at Tongji University.
