From December 1 to December 3, 2022, the "The Significance of Boundaries: Interdisciplinary and Cross-cultural Theory and Practice" - the 4th Jao Tsung-I Culture Forum was held at the Shenzhen Reform and Opening Up Executive Leadership Academy. This forum was jointly organized by Shenzhen University and the Center for Comparative Studies of World Civilizations of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and hosted by the Jao Tsung-I Institute of Culture Studies. Over 70 experts and scholars from universities and institutions across mainland China, as well as from the United States and Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, participated in the forum through a hybrid format of online and offline participation.
